ADDENDUM: SCP 11001 has sent ambassadors to strike a deal with MTF units on site and O5-1 has agreed to a (NON AGRESSION PACT) with the kingdom. foundation staff will continue to monitor SCP 11001 while the treaty is in effect and report any further change in the status of SCP 11001 ADDENDUM CONTINUED: DAY 3 . (Outside containment zone of SCP 11001 near site 21} DAY 6: MTF Xi-8 (“Last to Fall”) is monitoring the containment zone of SCP 11001 with no unusual activity. Apon further investigation MTF Xi-8 reports the body's are citizens of shurima the home country of O5-2. O5-2 was busy attending a summons for for talks with the united states government and hadn't been home for proximately 37 hours. during this time SCP 11001 sent raiding party's to shurima, looting and pillaging his home country whilst not alarming MTF Xi-8 monitoring the containment zone. DAY 14 April 30th 5:35pm O5-2 is notified of the anomaly at the containment zone, O5-2 gives the green light for MTF Xi-8 to engage SCP 11001 and get back what was taken from his people. MTF Xi-8 successfully launches an offensive on SCP 11001 and gets back what was taken from shurima. Day 15 may 1st 6:00 AM O5-1 is receiving alarms site wide at site 21 with reports of a containment breach. site 21 along with MTF Xi-8 has suffered Heavy casualty's and is reporting the source of the containment breach is instances of SCP 11001-1. MTF forces are deployed to the site to contain the site and SCP 11001 as well as SCP 11001-1 instances. DAY 15 May 1st 8:00 PM All current efforts to contain SCP 11001 and SCP 11001-1 instances have failed. this has triggered a class change and prompted the O5 Counsil to start considering SCP 11001 as a possible K class end of world scenario if SCP 11001 is uncontained for too long. the foundation is currently investigating any and all ways to contain SCP 11001 at this time. END LOG SCP recognizes hostility's with HRE and the termination of the NAP

A multitude of border skirmishes and raids have occurred in lands that lie directly under Imperial protection, culminating in the burning and looting of an esteemed bishopric. These heinous and devious crimes cannot go unanswered, the Empire will bring its full force to bear in defense of our members and SCP will be noted in history as treaty-breakers for violating the Golden Treaty. Peace will be found, either through force of arms or clever word, but for now the Empire rides to war.

  10. It's just another regular night for the local villagers, tending to their fields before finally surrendering for the night. Everything seems peaceful, but as daybreak arrives the farmers look out onto the fields in shock. The landscape as far as they can see is barren, burned to the ground with only a single entity remaining, a lone baguette vending machine with a large sign stating KennyIsHere. Before the villagers have time to think, various types of pies start to fly out the dispenser going off over the horizon to every local and major power. How a baguette vending machine is making pies? Nobody knows. However one thing is for sure, every night screams of terror can be heard as seemingly endless hoards of soldiers appear from the vending machine, raiding and pillaging those who denied the offering of pies.   12. Should this instead be a variable like X number of turns worth of income? So it can age up as nations do? $1m was a lot of money when we were making $30k a turn, but the new economic updates/schools can put you on 100k+ per turn pretty easily so $1m is only a week's worth of income for a "small" (one month old) nation. I could see this becoming irrelevant very quickly just based on how long nationsims usually run for.

Johnstown Empire would very quickly grow to become a major empire, with the flow of information and commerce between the two empires being as robust and efficient as ever. To this end, to better represent their relationship, HRE and JE agree to the following: 1. Mutual defence: Should one party come under attack, the other party is obligated to come to their defence. 2. Optional aggression: Should either party wish to engage barbarians threatening the peace, the other party is encouraged to, but not required to, go to war with them. 3. Peace, intelligence and trade: Both parties shall trade in goods and information with neither party taking actions against the interests of the other. 4. I think, in general, the building system will need to have some hard-caps to create balance but for now I will solely focus on military: Barracks should be hard-capped based on something reasonable so nations cannot infinitely arms-race (as we're seeing right now). This is wildly unrealistic. Standing armies just didn't exist during the medieval time period, and especially not standing armies consisting of double-digit ratios. My army, for example, is over 10% of my population. Realism is not being felt, which I think is a big piece of the attraction to historical settings like RoK, and gameplay is being hindered by the infinite arms-race occurring between the active top nations. My quick-fix solution: Barracks buildings should be hard-capped at 33% of your housing level OR maximum military should be capped at 5% of your total population (which is still unrealistically high). My deeper solution: Still apply the hard-cap, but also recruited units should take away from your total population until they are disbanded. Upkeep costs should be raised a bit. Basically your economy should not be functional while your troops are raised: Reflecting that medieval armies were most often levies pulled from the working male population of the region. Pulling half of your able-bodied population should have an impact on long-term economic outlook. Combined with a seasonal system where you can campaign in the summer months and have your men home to plant in spring and harvest in autumn, this could become a pretty deep war system... yes I've been playing a lot of manor lords.

  16. As the title says, population's hapiness would be a new value similar to education, crime rate or disease rate. Contrary to PnW's approval rating, this type of stat would have a direct impact on the kingdom. Population's happiness would have as effect to increase rss production, the same way education increases money production. This stat could also give bonus when it comes to defending your kingdom. For example, a kingdom with 70% of its population happy would have a higher defense bonus than another kingdom with a 30% of population's hapiness. Population's Hapiness would be the stat that indicates how happy the inhabitants are happy with the player's action, but also with how they are living. For example, a high amount of disease or crime would result in a small amount of population's happiness. To increase the hapiness of their population, here's what the player could do : 1. Decrease Crime and Disease : As stated earlier, reducing those 2 stats would increase the hapiness of the population, as it makes sense for inhabitants to be happy when they're not poor and not sick. By this mean, decreasing the crime and disease rate by building hospitals and police stations would indirectly increase Population's hapiness 2. Increase Education level : Just like crime and disease, it makes sense that a population is more happy when they can understand more things. The hapiness of the population would depend on the pourcentage of educated population, and not on the amount of school. 3. Amusement and recreative building : These new building would have as main purpose to bring the population's hapiness upwards while also bringing extra money to the income of the kingdom. As a drawback of bringing extra income, these building would increase disease and crime or be more costly in terms of expense. Examples of Buildings : - Colosseums : Each colosseum increase population's hapiness by 10%. They bring an income equal to (population x number of colosseum) divided by 4, or whatever the devs find is balanced. - Funhouses : Each funhouses raise population's hapiness by 8%. They bring an income equal to (population x number of funhouses) divided by 5 - Circuses : Each circuses raise the happiness by 5% and they bring an income equal to (population x number of circuses) divided by 6 - Theaters : Each theather raise the happiness by 3% and they bring an income equal to (population x number of theaters) divided by 7 Here are the factors that would decrease population hapiness 1. Lacking Food and water : As of right now, in the game, if you don't have enough food or water, all of your buildings stop working. In this exact situation, population's hapiness would rise down, as their are starving. Keeping an amount of food and water down to zero would considerably reduce population's hapiness. 2. Death of population from battles : The more population that dies from an offensive battle, the more the population's hapiness decrease in your kingdom. This prevent suiciding your troops, but also make you reconsider who you attack. 3. High disease, high crime rate and low education : This was already stated earlier, but it is important to note that population's hapiness would depend on the pourcentage of each stat stated in the substitle of this factor, and not on the amount of building. I hope you like this idea as I believe it can be a great addition to the game.

May 4th 11:47 am O5-1 has ordered MTF forces to do the unthinkable and deploy SCP 999 into the containment zone. Apon entering the containment zone of SCP 11001, SCP 999s anomalous property's immediately pacified SCP 11001 ceasing all SCP 11001-1 instances. this has made O5-1 decide not to reclassify SCP 11001 to Apollyon but to keep it at containment level KETER. SCP 999 is now reclassified to Thaumiel, AKA SAFE-THAUMIEL (see object classes for more details). SCP 11001s possible k class event has now been eliminated. REDACTED staff and MTF were lost during the containment breach. facility's are returning to a normal schedule after restaffing has been completed, all civilians that witnessed this even take place have been apprehended and treated with B class amnestic and returned to their homes. The Empire functions as a simplified version of the historical Holy Roman Empire: An Emperor at the top, selected by electors upon the Emperor's retirement. The Emperor has authority or power to delegate authority as-needed (I know not fully historical).
